My first attempt at Papercut letter S

While I say this is my first attempt, I really mean these are my first successful ones and this is the first month - August trying to work this out.  I wanted to throw these out, too but decided I can live with the result and change the design along the way.

The 2nd photo is for Sandy who just moved from near Syracuse, to Fairport, NY.  It will be a house warming present so I hope she likes the black frame.

The 1st photo will be framed tomorrow, after the sun comes up...it is already tomorrow as it is 1am.  Yikes, I better get some sleep.

I hope you like my S's.  I want to add books and lots of other tiny things when I design my next alpha letter.

Made a bunch of cards - all the same as I love the design so much.

I got the design inspiration from John Lockwood - a super artist from the UK.
His blog is here:

I got to use the tiny English roses made yesterday.

New bird scissors

New scissors arrived toady.. They are all of 2-1/2" long - nice and sharp and handy having them close on the art table.  I am such a cut up - pun intended.

Also, making tiny English roses for upcoming greeting cards.
