Matchbox Bunny -Maeve

Matchbox Mouse -Percy

I made the matching pillow and blanket after I designed the match box label.
Making the book label was the easiest part- so I made a couple different ones and put some photos inside.
The cotton material began to fray at the edges so I had to be sure to sew it closed well.

The puppet is Handcrafted in California by Folkmanis, Inc. and I made everything else.
I stuffed the pillow with some of the same fabric so I would not have to worry if a child opens up the pillow.
The matchbox house-bed is 4.75 x 2 x 2.75 inches.

aluminum foil embossing

To make this card, I used the Sue Wilson Embossing- cutting dies:
Herald Square Border
Times Square Center
Hug Snug Wine Ribbon
Aluminum foil

The candy box was inspired by the blog from 'JohnNext Door' with the use of the same dies.

Sue Wilson Dies

Sue Wilson Dies used.
Caribbean Set, English Tea Rose set.
5 x 7 card.
88# white laid cover.
The blue is some old Stampin Up paper I had in my stash bin.

The candy box (inspired by 'John Next Door') was also made with her dies Herald and Time Square.
Google John Next Door for a lot of inspiration - he is the best designer I have found anywhere.  Other than my Mother - that is.  xxx000

Received real thank you notes in the mail

What a wonderful day!
I received thank you notes- all the same day - from separate members of one family.
There are so few people that write a great thank you or even any thank you at all.

Since I design and make greeting cards, I am even more keenly aware of a real paper, thank you note - that is sent through the mail.
