Rose POp-Up Card
I
Rose design from his book: Shiawase Okuru. Editor:Best Treasure.
Octagon card design recreated from photos on the internet. Could not find the pattern anywhere so I created it as best I could from photos of his beautiful works.
I wish there was a way to buy his digital patterns and pay with Paypal instead of having to import a book.

Heart in Forest - Dream Wishes Box
This was handcut and designed in my Studio. Inspired by John Next Door.
Not Laser cut. laser cutting leaves a brownish edge which I do not like. I embossed the top. The 4 sided heart is strung with double gold threads.
Secured to the wood base, then set the dome on top.
The scrolls on top were from my scrap bin where I had too many scrolls. I didn't think that was possible. I love scrolls and swirl type elements..

Baby food jars - repurpose into storage organizing jars.
I keep re-organizing the Studio only to find I am just moving things from one place to another. THis attempt is to consolidate and organize.
My wonderful Daughter-In-Law has been saving baby food jars for me and she even kept the box they originally came in. After a couple tries with different paper, I ended up with this.
I used a black Sharpie to darken all the lids. Used my ATG double sided tape to adhere the punch tags and paper on the original box. I am not sure if I like the paper trim around the lid.

Punched butterflies - Recycle reuse scraps of paper
Great use for scraps of cardstock paper - instead of throwing out. Recycle - reuse. Right now I am working on a way to use these with a tiny 'thank you' note. A typical thank you fold over card uses an excessive amount of paper.

Recycle reuse left over cardstock scraps
Re cycle reuse.
Ended up with 1,200 scraps left over from a project and made tags with about half. As soon as I either sell or use these, I will make more.
The scraps ended up making 2,000 in 3 sizes. I donated half to the local Schools Art Class.
I like the recycle, reuse idea but it seems I have just made more things to fill up the Studio.
