Matchbox Bunny -Maeve

Cuddle up with this soft, squeezable tiny finger puppet. I handmade the matchbox miniature house-bed, the pillow and blanket and book for my miniature section.


 Finger Puppet Bunny 4 inches tall.

• Pillow stuffed with more of the same cotton material.
• 1 Miniature book Cover has a label. Inside of book is blank.
• 1 Bed-House Matchbox bottom that slides into the top:

I designed and make the matching pillow and blanket, Mini Book, top and bottom of matchbox and the cover label.

Matchbox Mouse -Percy

This is a 4 inch high finger puppet - so soft with a braided tail.

I made the matching pillow and blanket after I designed the match box label.  

Making the book label was the easiest part- so I made a couple different ones and put some photos inside.

The cotton material began to fray at the edges so I had to be sure to sew it closed well.

The puppet is Handcrafted in California by Folkmanis, Inc. and I made everything else.

I stuffed the pillow with some of the same fabric so I would not have to worry if a child opens up the pillow.

The matchbox house-bed is 4.75 x 2 x 2.75 inches.

Originally I wanted a hand held version. I always wanted a dollhouse but do not have enough room for one in the Studio so I settled for creating a hand held version of the McLoughlin Brothers original design c. 1894

French Carousel Circus Miniature

I think miniatures have taken my brain.
Not totally sure why but I have been making miniature toys lately.

Tiny French Carousel Circus- the small one is 4 inches high. 

The inner platform holding the circus performers really rotates.
